So what is wrong with Taylor? He is heading for a scan but surely he has been scanned before without the club getting to the bottom of his problems. There is clearly something deep seated here. Is it a tear? Or is Taylor just another example of "damaged goods" foisted on to West Ham because we are so desperate that we don't look too closely at a player's fitness for fear of not being able to complete a deal "on the cheap"?
There must be something rotten in Denmark. Too many players at the club develop long term injuries that nobody seems able to get to the bottom of. Never mind Dyer, he was a special case, or Ashton who arrived wrapped in more bandages than an Egyptian mummy, just look at the likes of Cole, who continues to carry an injury, and Collison, who doesn't seem able to get through two games in a week despite being in his early 20s. Nolan looks unfit, Noble looked laboured and exhausted for a couple of years, Faubert arrived and promptly broke down, so did Quashie and Ljungberg and Bentley and Lansbury. Demel has been out for ages, Tomkins has already been in and out of the team, and even Green has had his problems!
Why the fcuk can't the club's quacks sort things out? Allardyce puts huge store on fitness but you wouldn't know it would you?
